  • Albemarle Pippin

    This antique apple variety originated in Long Island, New York in the early 1700s. The fruit is light green with a yellow tinge. Moderately sweet and tart with a crisp texture. Excellent for cider and baking. Flavor improves during storage. Stores well for over 6 months. Available in late October.

  • Arkansas Black

    This apple variety originated in Arkansas during the mid 1800s. The fruit has a distinct dark red/purple color. Tart and tangy with a firm, crisp texture. Excellent for cider and baking. Flavor and texture improves dramatically during storage. Stores well for over 6 months. Available in late October.

  • Baldwin

    Also known as "Steele's Red Winter", this winter apple was found in Massachusetts in the early-mid 1700s. The fruit is medium sized and yellow with streaks of red. Sweet with a crisp texture. Excellent for cider, baking and fresh eating. Stores well for over 6 months. Available in late October.

  • Cortland

    This popular apple variety was developed in 1898 at Cornell University. The fruit is red with streaks of green. Very sweet, yet mildly tart with a crisp texture. Excellent for fresh eating or baking. Stores well for up to 4 months, but is best eaten right away. Available in mid September.

  • CrimsonCrisp®

    Released in 2006 from the Purdue-Rutgers-Illinois breeding program. This fruit has a beautiful crimson red color. Very crisp, sweet and rich. Excellent for fresh eating, good for baking. Stores well for up to 6 months. Available in mid September.

  • Enterprise

    Released in 1993 from the Purdue-Rutgers-Illinois breeding program. The fruit is glossy red in color. Firm and crisp, mildly tart and richly spicy. Excellent for baking, good for fresh eating. Stores well for up to 6 months. Available in late September.

  • EverCrisp®

    Released in 2017 by the Midwest Apple Improvement Association, this variety is a cross between a Honeycrisp and Fuji. The fruit is blushed red over a cream background. Very sweet, yet mildly tart with a crisp texture and wonderful crunch. Excellent for fresh eating stays crisp in storage. Stores well for up to 6 months. Available in mid October.

  • Fui

    This popular apple was developed in Japan and released in 1962. The fruit is red-pink over a yellow-green background. Very sweet, and refreshing with a crisp, crunchy texture. Excellent for fresh eating and cider. Stores well for up to 6 months. Available in late September.

  • GoldRush

    Released in 1993 from the Purdue-Rutgers-Illinois breeding program. The fruit is medium size, greenish-yellow in color. Rich and spicy, this variety sweetens while in storage. Excellent for baking and keeps extraordinarily well. Stores well for up to 9 months. Available in late October.

  • Golden Delicious

    Discovered in West Virginia in the early 1900s. The fruit is medium size, yellow in color. Very sweet, and rich with a pleasing texture. Excellent for fresh eating or baking. Stores well for up to 6 months. Available in late September.

  • Granny Smith

    This iconic apple was discovered in Australia in the 1860s. This medium size fruit is know for its green color. Very tart and acidic, this variety sweetens in storage while maintaining its incredible crunch. Excellent for fresh baking. Stores well for up to 6 months. Available in October.

  • Honeycrisp

    This favorite apple was developed at the University of Minnesota and released in 1991. The fruit is red-orage flush with green-yellow background. Very sweet with a juicy crisp texture. Excellent for fresh eating or baking. Stores well for up to 4 months. Available in late September.

  • Jonafree

    Released in 1979 from the Purdue-Rutgers-Illinois breeding program. The fruit is medium size and bright red. Sweet and mild with a crisp texture. Excellent for fresh eating, baking or cider. Stores well for up to 3 months. Available in late September.

  • Little Jewel

    Released in 1993 this small apple originates from France. The fruit is dark red in color. Sweet, fruity taste with a crisp texture. Excellent for fresh eating. Stores well for up to 3 months. Available in October.

  • Ludacrisp®

    Released in 2020 by the Midwest Apple Improvement Association, this variety is an open-pollinated Honeycrisp. The fruit is medium size and red-orange in color. Sweet, tart and tropical taste with a crisp texture. Excellent for fresh eating. Stores well for up to 3 months. Available in late September.

  • Nova Spy

    Introduced by the Nova Scotia Research Station in 1995. The fruit is greenish yellow with a red blush. Sweet-tart, vanilla-like flavor. Great for fresh eating, baking or cider. Stores well for up to 4 months. Available in late October.

  • Cripps Pink

    This modern apple was developed in the 1970 from Western Australia. The fruit has a beautiful pink skin. Zesty sweet, yet mildly tart with a crisp texture. Excellent for fresh eating or baking. Stores well for up to 4 months. Available in late October.

  • Pristine

    Released in 1994 from the Purdue-Rutgers-Illinois breeding program. This medium size fruit has pale green-yellow skin with an orange blush. Mildly sweet and tart with a crisp texture. Excellent for baking or cider. Good for fresh eating. Stores well for up to 1 month. Available in early August.

  • Red Jonaprince

    This apple was discovered growing as a chance seedling in a commercial orchard near Weert in the Netherlands, in 1994. It appears to be a cross between Jonathan and Golden Delicious varieties. Sweet, crisp and juicy flesh; good flavor and texture.

  • Liberty

    Superb disease resistant variety from New York State Agricultural Experiment Station. This great-tasting apple gets its clean well-balanced flavor from its immediate parent Macoun and grand-parent McIntosh. Similar to McIntosh, but with perhaps a bit more tartness.
